CIRM's Anne Holden wrote a very nice piece about the research earlier this week.The stem cell agency did not directly fund the “bubble boy” experiment, although CIRM awards, ranging from training programs to lab construction, did help to make the effort a reality. [read post]

  I guess you'd have to say that Governor Holden who declared martial law to try to wrest control from the Klan (and other white supremacy groups) lost the "war" and that was part of the end of Reconstruction in North Carolina. [read post]
